Coffee Properties
Recent research suggests that coffee is a good stimulator of cerebral activities
and increases concentration . Caffeine is both a cardiac and nervous system
stimulator that helps reduce stress and increases physical and psychological
capacity.
From a nourishment point of view the coffee,
especially roasted, contains many substances useful to an organism such
as: PP vitamin, manganese, copper, zinc, potassium, and magnesium. A
very important pharmacology book of the XIX century mentions coffee as
a cure for colic, vomit, cramps, headache, asthma, rheumatism, and
intestinal disorders.
Every bean of coffee contains :
10 %water
10% nitrates
~ 10% fats and sugars
24% cellulose
8% acid
and the remaining portions is composed of volatile oil, ashes, and caffeine

Every cup of coffee on the average contains between 50 and 150 mg. of caffeine.
Every individual has a threshold of tolerance for coffee as true with alcohol
Longer coffee contains more caffeine than shorter coffee.
